Heart of Compassion Trust - Working in Northern Uganda among the many people affected by conflict

Charity Registration:
Thank you for your continued interest and support of Heart of Compassion Trust . This year has been an exciting time, with Heart of Compassion Trust achieving charity registration, releasing us as a trust to work in a more effective capacity than we had previously been able.

New Projects:
In the past few months, Heart of Compassion Trust has started funding two projects in northern Uganda. The first of these projects involves teaching young people the basics of farming using oxen and ploughs. The focus is on those who have spent so much of their time in the camps over the years, and have never had to learn how to farm the land.

The other project is being run in collaboration with Oasis Uganda , and involves the training of youth, particularly those who have escaped the clutches of the LRA in recognised IT skills, providing a basis for employment in the area. Raising Money:
As ways of raising money, Heart of Compassion Trust has registered with a number of organisations, such as Ebay, meaning that a seller can donate a portion of their sale through Ebay to Heart of Compassion Trust. We have also registered the trust with PayPal, meaning that we are able to receive donations from our website, without the need for merchant account. Sponsored Events this Summer:
