Welcome to the Heart of Compassion Trust website.

The work of Heart of Compassion Trust continues to go on.  The trust are meeting in early June to look at several more exciting possibilities of local groups based in northern Uganda with whom we can work with to fund.  The new-look  website is not long off.

Keep checking back!  If you have any small change lurking around which you are keen to pass on, please get in touch.  It is a vital part of our fundraising and a recent count up of couple of several collections of small change came to over £45!  This goes such a long way in Uganda so keep collecting that unwanted small change to make a big difference!

Welcome to the Heart of Compassion Trust website.

We are excited to announce that we are in the process re-branding the charity. This will take the form of  a new logo (as seen to the right), as well as a complete overhaul of our website.

Heart of Compassion Trust has been acting as a registered charitable trust (registered charity number 1127601) since January 2009.  We launched officially on October 17 2009, which was also International Day for Eradication of Poverty.  It was a great evening with information about Heart of Compassion Trust and Uganda, the projects we fund, African food and an African choir that got everyone moving and shakin!  Thanks to all who came along and supported us - over 70 people came along and many others who weren't able to make it on the night!  Thanks also to the two choirs who sang, all those who mucked in on the night and St Thomas Crookes who hosted the event.

If you are interested in getting involved financially, please check out the support us section of the website.  It's not about giving huge amounts but about the small amounts making a huge difference to ordinary children and young people in northern Uganda.
