Heart of Compassion Trust works in Northern Uganda among many of the people in the region who have been affected in some way by the conflict which has been ongoing in the region for over two decades.

As you will be able to read in the news article, we have only recently been registered as a charity here in the UK. Prior to this registration, fund raising ventures had all-but stopped, and the support of projects in Uganda had ceased.

We are happy to announce, that with the recent registration, Heart of Compassion Trust will resume fund raising. We are already supporting one project in Uganda, and are in the process of negotiating contracts for another project. Keep an eye on the Current Projects page, which will be updated every time a new project is started.

As the work of Heart of Compassion Trust gets under way both in Uganda and the UK, so too are we looking to develop the image of the charity a bit. The website is in the process of having a re-fit, and as a result is a fairly minimal structure at the moment. Please feel free to browse through the site though.

It is hoped that this site will be sufficient in its ability to offer the reader an understanding of the work that Heart of Compassion Trust is involved with.
