Heart of Compassion Trust - Working in Northern Uganda among the many people affected by conflict

A team from St Thomas' Church in Crookes is to visit Uganda for two weeks, leaving on the 7th May. The purpose of their trip is in line with 'mission', involving a number of aspects, including carrying out some Besom projects, meeting with contacts, and working alongside Heart of Compassion in Gulu to help the work that is being done there, and hopefully to bring plans to a reality!

Travel & luggage - that there are no problems and the journey is safe
Health - African stomachs are often stronger than English ones
That their plans work out and the team will be used to benefit the people they come into contact with while there!
